Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legal agreement between you (“you” or “user”) and Hauljoy AI (“Hauljoy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your access to and use of the Hauljoy AI mobile application, website, and related services, including the AI shopping assistant experience known as Joy (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Scope of Service

Hauljoy AI is an AI shopping assistant app. The Service provides shopping-related AI assistance features, including:

• Asking Joy shopping-related questions by text, image, or voice input;
• Receiving AI shopping suggestions;
• Viewing product information;
• Receiving product analysis;
• Comparing product options;
• Saving favorite products;
• Using price tracking and reminder features;
• Receiving shopping reminders or app activity notifications;
• Accessing third-party product links or third-party product pages.

The Service only provides shopping assistance, information organization, AI suggestions, product display, product comparisons, price tracking, and third-party product links.

Hauljoy AI does not sell products directly, process orders, process payments, ship products, handle returns, issue refunds, or provide merchant customer service. The Service is not an agent of any third-party merchant, platform, marketplace, payment provider, or shipping provider, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and a third-party merchant.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of another person, company, or organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that person, company, or organization.

If applicable law requires permission from a parent, guardian, or authorized person, you must obtain that permission before using the Service.

3. Access to the Service, Guest Features, and Optional Sign-In

You can use certain guest features of the Service. Sign-in is optional and is not required to use every part of the Service.

Some features require sign-in, including syncing saved items, saving conversation history, using account-based features, and requesting account deletion.

If you sign in with Google, Apple, or another supported sign-in method, you are responsible for keeping your account information accurate, protecting your account access, and all activity under your account.

If you do not sign in, you can still use guest features supported by the Service.

If we determine that misuse, fraud, security risks, or violations of these Terms occurred, we can restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or part of the Service.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service in a lawful, respectful, appropriate, and safe manner.

You must not:

• Use the Service for illegal, harmful, deceptive, abusive, harassing, fraudulent, or rights-infringing purposes;
• Upload, submit, or transmit unlawful, infringing, misleading, harmful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, or inappropriate content;
• Violate the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights of others;
• Submit images, voice content, text, product information, or content that you do not have the right to use;
• Submit payment card information, government identification numbers, passwords, account credentials, medical information, or sensitive information;
• Attempt to disrupt, interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, bypass, attack, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems;
• Circumvent security measures, usage limits, access controls, permission settings, or content restrictions;
• Use bots, scrapers, automated tools, or unauthorized systems to access, scrape, or extract data from the Service;
• Use the Service to generate spam, deceptive content, misleading commercial content, or unauthorized promotional content;
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, relationship, qualifications, or the source of any content;
• Use the Service in a way that violates applicable laws, platform rules, or third-party terms.

If you violate these rules, we can remove content, restrict features, suspend your account, terminate access, or take other necessary actions.

5. User Content and Inputs

You can submit content to the Service, including text, chat questions, prompts, shopping needs, product information, budgets, images, voice input, feedback, or materials (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, display, analyze, and use your User Content as needed to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
• Generate AI responses, shopping suggestions, product analysis, and product comparisons;
• Support image analysis, voice input, conversation history, saved items, and price tracking;
• Maintain service safety, stability, performance, and reliability;
• Troubleshoot technical issues;
• Prevent abuse, fraud, and security risks;
• Process account deletion, data deletion, and user requests in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

We do not claim ownership of your User Content. We do not sell your User Content.

You are responsible for the User Content you submit. You confirm that you have the legal right to submit, upload, or use that content, and that the content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

6. AI-Generated Outputs

The Service uses AI technologies to generate responses, suggestions, analysis, comparisons, summaries, and outputs based on your inputs, context, product information, image content, and available information.

AI-generated outputs are provided only for informational and shopping assistance purposes. AI-generated outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, current, suitable for your specific needs, or aligned with the latest information from third-party merchants.

Before making a purchase or other decision, you should independently verify:

• Product price;
• Product availability;
• Product description;
• Product images;
• Product specifications;
• Third-party merchant policies;
• Reviews and ratings;
• Applicable taxes and fees;
• Payment, refund, return, customer service, and transaction-related information.

The Service does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, investment, or regulated professional advice. You should not rely on AI-generated outputs as professional advice or as the sole basis for a decision.

7. Product Information and Third-Party Content

The Service can display product names, images, prices, descriptions, platform information, purchase links, product comparisons, recommendation reasons, price changes, saved item information, and shopping-related content.

This information comes from third-party merchants, platforms, websites, product data sources, public information, AI analysis, and external sources. Third-party product information changes.

We do not guarantee that third-party product information is accurate, complete, current, available, safe, or suitable for you. Prices, availability, promotions, product details, product images, merchant policies, and related information are determined by the final information shown by the third-party merchant or platform.

Any purchase decision or transaction occurs only between you and the relevant third-party merchant, platform, or service provider. Hauljoy AI does not sell products directly, process orders, process payments, ship products, handle returns, issue refunds, or provide merchant customer service.

8. Third-Party Links, Merchant Pages, and Third-Party Services

The Service includes or provides third-party product links, Buy Now entries, product detail links, merchant pages, third-party websites, third-party platforms, and third-party service access points.

When you tap a third-party product link, Buy Now, product details, or a third-party product page, the Service opens the relevant third-party merchant URL. Third-party merchants, websites, platforms, and services process information needed for their page visits and transaction flows under their own terms and privacy policies.

Third-party services are not controlled by us. We are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, policies, data practices, products, services, transactions, orders, payments, shipping, logistics, returns, refunds, customer service, or disputes.

When you access or use third-party services, you should review and follow the applicable third party’s terms and privacy policy. You access third-party services at your own discretion and risk.

9. Saved Items, Notifications, Reminders, and Price Tracking

The Service can allow you to save products, manage saved items, enable notifications, set reminders, and receive price-related alerts.

Push notifications are sent only after you allow notification permission on your device. You can manage notification permission in your device settings.

Notifications, reminders, and price tracking are provided for convenience only. We do not guarantee that notifications, reminders, or price information will be timely, accurate, complete, or available. Product prices, availability, promotions, and third-party product information change before, during, or after a notification is sent.

Before making a purchase, you should independently verify the final price, product details, transaction terms, and other important information shown by the third-party merchant or platform.

10. Camera, Images, Voice Input, and Location Features

The Service can provide camera, photo library, image upload, voice input, and location-related features.

We access camera, photo library, microphone, speech recognition, location, notification, tracking permission, and similar permission-based features only after you actively use the related feature and grant the required permission. You can manage, disable, or re-enable permissions through your device settings. For certain features, the app also provides related in-app controls.

You are responsible for images, voice content, text, and content that you upload, submit, or record. You must not upload or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, contains sensitive information, is unauthorized, or that you do not have the right to use.

Location features collect current location only after you actively use the location feature and grant permission. Location information is used to identify city or region, provide localized shopping experiences, region-based shopping content, and product suggestions. The Service does not continuously track your real-time location.

If location permission is disabled, current-location features will not work properly. You can allow location permission again through your device settings. For certain location-related features, the app also provides related in-app controls to re-enable or withdraw location permission.

If you disable a permission, the related feature will not work properly.

11. Account Deletion and Data Deletion

If you create an account or sign in to the Service, you can request deletion of your account and account-related personal data through the account deletion option available in the app, by submitting the account deletion request form at:

or by contacting us using the email address listed at the end of these Terms.

If you use the Service without signing in, you can also request deletion of personal data related to your use of the Service through the account deletion request form or by contacting us.

After we receive your deletion request, we verify your identity, account ownership, or the information needed to process your request. After verification, we delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account or your use of the Service, including account information, conversation history, saved items, price tracking records, uploaded images, voice input records, and related content.

The following information is retained for a necessary period after deletion:

• Information retained for legal, tax, accounting, or compliance requirements;
• Information required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and platform compliance;
• Aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies a specific user.

After account deletion is completed, you will no longer be able to access your account, conversation history, saved items, price tracking records, uploaded images, voice input records, or other account-related content.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, store, and protect your information, including information processed through Google Firebase, AppsFlyer, AI service providers, image storage services, notification services, and platform services.

Please review the Privacy Policy carefully. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we process information as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, interface, design, features, text, graphics, icons, branding, logos, content, and materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Without our express authorization, or unless permitted by applicable law, you must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, create derivative works based on, or exploit any part of the Service.

14. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, comments, or improvement requests, you agree that we can use them to improve, develop, modify, operate, or promote the Service without paying you compensation.

15. Service Changes and Availability

We can update, modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service based on product, technical, compliance, security, or operational needs.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate, complete, or available.

Some features depend on third-party services, network access, device permissions, platform capabilities, AI services, image storage services, speech recognition services, location services, attribution services, analytics services, notification services, or merchant pages. If those services are unavailable or change, certain features of the Service are affected.

16. Compliance with Laws and Platform Rules

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, platform rules, third-party service terms, and these Terms when using the Service.

If you access or use the Service from outside the region where we operate, you are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable local laws.

17. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be available, accurate, complete, secure, continuous, or error-free;
• AI-generated outputs will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for your needs;
• Product information, prices, images, links, third-party content, or third-party merchant information will be accurate, complete, current, or available;
• Notifications, price alerts, or saved item updates will be timely, accurate, or available;
• Third-party merchants, platforms, websites, or services will meet your expectations.

You decide whether to rely on information provided through the Service, and you use the Service and third-party services at your own risk.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses or damages arising from:

• Your use of, or inability to use, the Service;
• Your reliance on AI-generated outputs;
• Your reliance on product information, prices, images, links, notifications, reminders, or third-party content;
• Acts or omissions of third-party merchants, platforms, websites, or services;
• Orders, payments, shipping, logistics, returns, refunds, customer service, disputes, or third-party transaction issues;
• Unavailability of networks, devices, permissions, third-party SDKs, AI services, speech recognition services, image storage services, location services, attribution services, analytics services, notification services, or merchant pages;
• Unauthorized access, account security issues, or issues caused by content you submit, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

19. Indemnification

You agree to be responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your submitted User Content, your interactions with third-party merchants or services, your violation of these Terms, your violation of applicable laws, or your infringement of third-party rights.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, if the above circumstances cause claims or losses to us, our affiliates, service providers, employees, or partners, you agree to cooperate in resolving the matter and bear the related responsibility.

20. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time.

If we determine that any of the following occurs, we can restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to all or part of the Service:

• You violate these Terms;
• Your use creates legal, security, operational, or platform compliance risks;
• Abuse, fraud, misuse, or unauthorized activity occurs;
• Laws, regulations, platform policies, or valid requirements require us to take action;
• The Service or certain features are discontinued.

After termination, you can lose access to your account, conversation history, saved items, price tracking, uploaded images, voice input records, and Service features.

Terms that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including provisions related to User Content, intellectual property, privacy, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute handling.

21. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us first using the contact information at the end of these Terms so that we can try to resolve the issue informally.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the dispute will be handled through a court with jurisdiction or another lawful channel as permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

22. Changes to These Terms

We update these Terms based on product features, legal requirements, platform policies, service changes, or operational needs.

If we make material changes to these Terms, we will notify users through the app, website, or email.

The “Last Updated” date at the top of these Terms indicates when they were last revised. If you continue to use the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
